Tuesday 25th November 2008, THE Christmas Wine Fair - this time we are at the beautiful Anstey Hall, also in Trumpington, and just a short walk from our shop - there is ample parking at the venue and plenty of parking on the street where the entrance to the venue resides. There will be approximately 100 wines of varying different countries/regions/styles/prices totaste between 6.30pm and 9pm, fine cheeses/oils etc from Cambridge Cheese Company and also a selection of superlative glassware & giftware. Cambridge is just 50 minutes from London King's Cross and a further 10 minutes by taxi for those interested from further afield.

What can we say. Noel's annual bash. Who knows maybe a major overhaul is needed, who knows might be the same old format. Whatever happens some cracking booze will be available to taste with the coming weeks in mind. Fizz and dessert wine too. Bread, fine cheese from the Cambridge Cheese Company and Mince Pies follow, or maybe we can ring the changes as suggested and serve Battenberg cake?

Those easily offended should probably not apply...
