This fine Chardonnay has rapidly become one of Australia's finest. From 3 different clones. Hand picked and whole bunch pressed prior to barrel fermentation and aging. Some wild yeast fermentation takes place and certain batches get extended time on lees and there is partial malolactic fermentation. Stone fruit and oak on the attractive nose. It's crisp and fresh with ripe stone fruits and citrus hints of honey and creamy nutty oak. Lively citrus acidity keeps the whole tight and fresh. Really long and nutty even a touch minerally. Elegant and really classy.
