Ant Moore
Pinot Gris, 2009
New Zealand White
Marlborough 75cl
This is ant Moore's first estate wine. Having made wine for various wineries and projects over 10 years, he has started his own lable, and this comes from vines he planted, tended and harvested. Fairly classic Gris nose with rosehip, stone fruits, honey, citrus and a touch of spice. It's clean and fresh with good weight. Quite broad and fleshy with stone fruits, honey and spice again, fairly rich with some acidity. It's a great food style, and unlike a lot of NZ Pinot Gris is properly dry. Will age well over the next 2-3 years.
