Very much a Cabernet dominated nose, leafy and herbal with ripe cassis, plum, spice and a touch of oak. It's rich on the palate but like all Paul Mas wines nothing too overt or over the top. Leafy herbal Cab leading into brambly spicy Syrah, lovely oak on a long finish. It is fresh and vibrant yet quite soft and very appealing. Good acidity and good length. A really impressive winery.
