Winner of a Great Value Trophy at the International Wine Challenge. Coming from the small Coteaux du Giennois appelation north of Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé. It's quite a ripe wine, typical of the warm 2009 vintage. Has some herbaceous notes alongside ripe peachy fruit, with lime too. It's quite round with a lovely weight of fruit, it's fresh and tangy and really quite delicious, makes a nice change to have a slightly softer rounder style, lovely clean and pure fruit.
